- Neutral + light tones
- Soft textures
- Minimal or no patterns
- A little POP of color
These choices give your photos a clean, timeless, and emotional feel — letting the love in the moment take center stage.

Light Neutrals
think soft, dreamy, and peaceful
Light neutrals reflect natural light beautifully, creating soft, ethereal images that feel peaceful, connected, and full of grace. These tones gently highlight your bump and bring attention to the emotion in every frame — anticipation, joy, and love. Whether we’re outdoors or in the comfort of your home, light neutrals blend effortlessly into any setting, giving your gallery a cohesive, timeless feel you’ll treasure forever.
Examples: Cream, Light gray, White, Blush, Beige, Dusty sage, and Pale blue

Dark Neutrals
think rich, cozy, and grounded
Dark neutrals add richness, depth, and a cozy sense of grounding to your images. These tones create beautiful contrast, helping the natural emotion and movement of your family shine through. Whether it’s a navy sweater, a deep green dress, or warm brown layers, darker shades bring a touch of elegance while still keeping the focus on your connection. They pair beautifully with lighter tones and photograph effortlessly in any season
Examples: Navy, Deep brown, Charcoal gray, Rich black, and Forest or dusty green

Neutrals are the unsung heroes of senior photo styling — and for good reason! They look amazing in every setting, from grassy fields to urban walls, and they never compete with you as the focal point. Whether you're going for a sleek, modern vibe or something soft and natural, neutral tones bring a timeless, polished look to your images. They mix and match effortlessly and give you room to play with pops of personality — like a bold accessory, bright shoes, or your school colors. It’s the perfect balance of relaxed and refined — just like your session should be.

Vibe check!
Your senior session is all about you — your style, your vibe, your story. Whether you're going for soft and elegant or cool and casual, here are a few outfit ideas to help you feel amazing in front of the camera:
For a soft, feminine look: A flowing maxi dress or skirt is always a favorite. The movement in the fabric adds elegance and creates beautiful, effortless images.
For a more relaxed vibe: A great pair of jeans paired with ankle boots or clean sneakers, plus a cute layered top or cozy sweater, keeps things modern and stylish.
Want both? Bring one dressy outfit and one casual option — this gives you variety in your gallery and lets different sides of your personality shine.
Or even your cap and gown! It’s a fun way to celebrate all your hard work and makes for some classic graduation shots.
What to avoid
A few quick tips to keep your photos clean, flattering, and timeless:
Skip tiny patterns — anything smaller than a dime (like tight plaids or micro stripes) can create odd visual effects on camera.
Avoid graphic tees and logos — they pull focus away from you and can date your photos quickly.
Tennis shoes aren’t ideal for most outfits. Opt for boots, clean sneakers, or something a little more styled.
Stay away from neons and overly bright colors like red, orange, or electric blue — they tend to reflect onto your skin and can be tricky in natural light.
Ill-fitting clothing can be distracting. If something’s too tight, too loose, or you’re constantly adjusting it — it’ll show in your photos. Choose pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable.
Helpful tips
This is your time to shine — so bring along anything that helps tell your story!
Whether you're heading off to college, pursuing a trade, taking a gap year, or still figuring it out (totally okay!), this session is all about capturing who you are right now. Here are a few things you might want to bring:
Something that represents your future plans — a college sweatshirt, stethoscope, sketchbook, camera, or anything related to your intended major or career
Hobby-related items — musical instruments, sports gear, books, art supplies, dance shoes, or anything you love doing in your free time
Sentimental touches — a childhood keepsake, a special piece of jewelry, or even your dog (yes, really!)
A water bottle or snack — especially if you’re doing multiple outfits or locations
And hey — if you feel more relaxed flying solo, it’s totally okay to have your parents stay home or hang back. Sometimes a little space makes room for more genuine smiles and true-to-you confidence.

Plan to do a little walking, a little twirling, maybe some laughing, and possibly even a dance break or two (no pressure, but I am a great hype woman).
This session is all about celebrating you — your style, your energy, your story.
I can’t wait to capture it all.
Get ready to have some fun — this is going to be good.
